Provotique Walking Tours is licensed by the Guyana Tourism Authority and operates Wednesday through Sunday in the capital city. Currently two walking tours are available. Click on the above icons to see more details of each tour.
The main street walking tour last for approximately 2 ½ hours and covers about 20 locations/sites. It requires brisk walking along pavements, catwalks and some areas of traversing will include bustling through city traffic and with the grand opportunity to experience the local culture and people.
Feel free to review the tours offered above to see some of the highlighted points of interests along the way depending on weather and availability. Some of the sites include the Marine Turtle Monument, Old Train track Junk Yard, St George’s Cathedral, City Hall, Parliament Building and Stabroek Market.
While walking tours are offered for the Main street expedition from Wednesdays to Sundays, Botanical/Independence Arch Tours are currently scheduled for only Saturdays and Sundays. (Click on Botanical/Independence Arch Tour for more information)
